A Small Hare Oil Painting For Sale

This little piece was begun in acrylics, and I decided to add a little layer of oil paint over the top, to add this beautiful wash of luscious colour. He will be for sale on my website soon!

The siz eof this new painting is 50 x 60 cm and the sides of the canvas are gallery wrapped. This means that the painting can be hung unframed if preferred.

This little hare painting in inks on canvas board was my first try in the medium. The inks move on the canvas in a new and delightful way. I love trying new things and I plan on taking things further!

This original piece is one of a series that features pairs of hares, surrounded by the magic of a wildflower meadow. I have two available pieces, and this one is’ March Hares’. Traditionally these could be called Boxing Hares, but in reality, this is more like two hares playing and having fun. The piece is quite unique, with all of the little flowery details. I came up with the idea while walking my dogs one morning last year, on one of those days when Spring is in the air and the wildlife is very much in evidence!

Wildlife Paintings for Sale UK

I have been working on some wildlife paintings, beginning with these new hare paintings. I enjoy the challenge of trying to capture their expressive faces. These most recent hare paintings will be available on my website in a few days. They are smaller pieces at 45 x 65 cm and 50 x 60 cm.

Getting small 'demo' paintings ready for sale!

I have decided to offer my demonstration paintings for sale. These are the pieces I paint for my workshops, and they are all smaller pieces, around 45-60 cm. Having completed almost a year of workshops now, I have quite a collection of these paintings. I have been going through them all and making sure they are finished, and then as soon as they are all ready to hang and varnished etc, I will have a sale event. Watch this space!
