Atmospheric Woodlands - Sun 13th July
Moira Village Hall, Moira. Swadlincote De12 6DZ 10am-3pm
All the materials needed for the day are provided. Spend the day with me painting, learning and socialising with a small group of friendly artists and take home your original beautiful woodland painting on canvas. This workshop is suitable for beginners improvers and experienced artists alike. We will cover colour mixing, blocking in, negative painting, lighting and atmosphere effects to create a fabulous original painting. We are situated deep in the heart of the National Forest, so what better scene to paint than a woodland!
I have plenty of reference photographs, like the ones shown here, and we will work through the painting step by step, with demonstrations throughout.
We begin at 10 am and paint till 3 pm with breaks for coffee and cake, and lunch. Please bring a packed lunch.
These workshops are always lighthearted and fun, with plenty of laughs. Wear clothing that can cope with an accidental splash of paint, and get ready to have fun, relax and learn.
