Paint the Forest! A Fun Woodland Workshop
📍 Ibstock School/Leisure Centre, (Opposite the Palace , High St Ibstock)
đź•™Sunday 29th March- 10 am - 4 pm

Come and join me for a joyful day of painting, laughter, and creativity in the heart of the National Forest! Whether you’re a total beginner, a rusty improver, or a seasoned brush-slinger, this relaxed woodland-themed workshop is for you.

I'll provide everything you need-bring yourself (and a packed lunch). We’ll dive into colour mixing, blocking in shapes, layering with negative painting, and adding light and atmosphere until you’ve created your own stunning woodland scene on canvas to take home and show off.

You’ll be guided step by step with live demos and plenty of tips, using reference photos full of forestry inspiration. And of course, we’ll stop for the essentials: coffee, cake, and a good natter.

Expect friendly faces, lots of encouragement, and a relaxed vibe. It’s a mess-friendly zone, so wear clothes you don’t mind splashing paint on.

 Wheelchair accessible
Loads of free parking, opposite the Palace/The Ram, access the portacabin via the gate through the back of the free car park, and immediately on your left

Directions:

If you locate the Palace and the Ram pub in Ibstock on the High Street, there is a free car park over the road from them. Park towards the back of the carport, and you'll see a gate into the leisure centre. Our portacabin is just inside the gate on the left.
